At the end of 2025, the total number of registered road vehicles (with active or temporarily deregistered status) reached 1,048,092, marking an increase of 9.3% compared with 2024.

•    Passenger cars accounted for 80.8% of the total number of road vehicles.
•    The number of passenger cars per 1,000 inhabitants increased to 361, from 326 in 2024.
