In the third quarter of 2026, the number of vehicles in circulation in the territory of Albania was 1,115,221. Among them, passenger cars make up 80.6 % of the total vehicles, followed by motorcycles with 6.5 % and mixed transport vehicles with 5.7 %.
Tirana holds the largest share with 34.7 % of the total vehicles, followed by Durrës with 13.7 %. Meanwhile, Gjirokastra and Kukës have the lowest number of vehicles, with 2.1 % and 2.4 %, respectively.
