Harmonised Index of Consumer Price, June 2018

The annual rate measured by Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) in June 2018 is 2.1 %. The most increase of the prices it was notice in the “Recreation and culture” group by 3.7 %, followed by “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” group by 3.4 %, “Clothing and footwear” group by 3.0 %, “Transport” by 2.6 %, “Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels” by

2.2 %, “Alcoholic beverages and tobacco” by 1.0 %, “Education service” by 0.9 %, “Communication” and “Hotels, coffee-houses and restaurants” by 0.7 each of them, “Furniture household goods and maintenance” by 0.5 %, etc.

In June 2018, the monthly rate measured by Harmonised Index of Consumer Price is -0.1 %. This is influenced mostly by decrease of prices in “Health” and “Hotels, coffee-houses and restaurants” groups by 0.3 % each of them, followed by “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” group by 0.2 %. Prices of “Clothing and footwear” group are increased by 0.5 %, followed by “Alcoholic beverages and tobacco”, “Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels” and“Transport” by 0.2 % each of them. In comparison with previous month, there were no changes in the other groups.
