Harmonised Index of Consumer Price, July 2018
The annual rate measured by Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) in July 2018 is 2.3 %. The most increase of the prices it was noticed in the “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” group by 4.2 %, followed by “Recreation and culture” group by 3.0 %, “Transport” by 2.5 %, “Clothing and footwear” by 2.1 %, “Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels” by 2.0 %, “Alcoholic beverages and tobacco” and “Hotels, coffee-houses and restaurants” by 1.0 each of them, “Education service” by 0.9 %, “Communication” by 0.7 %, “Furniture household goods and maintenance” by 0.6 %, etc.
In July 2018, the monthly rate measured by Harmonised Index of Consumer Price is -0.5 %. This is influenced mostly by decrease of prices in “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” group by 1.0 %, followed by “Clothing and footwear”, “Health” and “Recreation and culture” groups by 0.4 % each of them, “Furniture household goods and maintenance” by 0.3 %, “Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels” and “Transport” by 0.2 % each of them. Meanwhile, prices of “Hotels, coffee-houses and restaurants” group increased by 0.3 %. In comparison with previous month, there were no changes in the other groups.
