Harmonised Index of Consumer Price, April 2018

The annual rate measured by Harmonised Index of Consumer Prices (HICP) in April 2018 is 1.7 %. The most increase of the prices it was notice in the “Clothing and footwear” group by 3.0 %, followed by “Recreation and culture” by 2.7 %, “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” group by 2.6 %, “Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels” by 1.6 %, “Transport” by 1.5 %, “Alcoholic beverages and tobacco”  by 1.2, “Hotels, coffee-houses and restaurants” by 1.0 %, ”Education service” by 0.9 %, etc.

In April 2018, the monthly rate measured by Harmonised Index of Consumer Price is -0.4 %. This is influenced mostly by decrease of prices in “Food and non-alcoholic beverages” group by 1.4 % followed by “Clothing and footwear” by 0.4 %, “Alcoholic beverages and tobacco” by 0.3 %, “Housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels”, “Transport” and “Communication” by 0.2 % each of them. Prices of “Recreation and culture” group are increase by 2.0 %, followed by “Hotels, coffee-houses and restaurants” by 1.4 %, “Furniture household goods and maintenance” and “Goods and different services” by 0.2 % each of them, etc.
