The total quantity produced during 2014 was 4,726 GWh

Electric powerderived from all sources, during 2014 decreased 0.8 percent compared with 2013. The total quantity of net domestic production and electricity exchange was 7,794 GWh.

The domestic productionof electric power represents 60.6 percent of the total quantity of available electricity. The total quantity produced during 2014 was 4,726 GWh from 6,959 GWh produced in 2013, which is decreased by 32.1 percent.

Hydropower plants productionwas the main source of electricity generation. The quantity of electricity produced by them is decreased 32.1 percent compared with 2013. Public hydropower plants production represents 72.1 percent of total domestic production, while production of electricity from independent power producers constitutes 27.9 percent.
