INSTAT aims to provide statistical products and services that meet the statistical information needs of different user groups. Quality improvements are carried out continuously, while seeking for cost efficiency and minimizing respondent burden. INSTAT publishes quality reports at the statistical product level. These reports deliver standardized information on the methods and definitions used, as well as on the quality of the statistical results. Their structure is based on the European Statistical System’s quality framework, its quality concepts and the principles of the European Statistics Code of Practice.
