Statistical Council

Statistical Council is the highest body in charge of supervision and support of INSTAT in his role for the implementation of statistical activities provided by Official Statistics Programme. Statistical Council is composed by 11 members who represent statistical agencies, the academic world and civil society. The nomination of members is approved by a special decision of the Ministers Council. Council of Statistics conducts its activities in accordance with LAW NO.17/2018 ON OFFICIAL STATISTICS and DCM nr. 670, dated 07.11.2018 "On the Criteria and Procedures for Selection, Representation, Appointment and Dismissal, the Rules of Operation, and the Reward Amount for Members of the Statistics Counsil.", as amended.
