3.2 By 2030, end preventable deaths of newborns and children under 5 years of age, with all countries aiming to reduce neonatal mortality to at least as low as 12 per 1,000 live births and under‑5 mortality to at least as low as 25 per 1,000 live births.
Health status is based on individuals’ subjective self-perception and refers to health in general rather than temporary problems, including different dimensions of health such as mental, emotional, and physical health. It is a subjective measure of how people assess their overall health on a scale from “very good” to “very bad.” The indicator measures the percentage of the population aged 16 and over who perceive their health status in two categories as “good” or “very good.”;
