Institute of Statistics Albania hosted this year the Policy Group on Statistical Cooperation held in Durres Albania, during 19^th – 20^th of October.

As every year the Directors General and International Officers from the NSIs of the enlargement countries, Eurostat,  DG Near, EFTA, UNECE, Sida met to discuss strategic issues related to statistics in the context of the enlargement process. DG NEAR provided an overview on the Stabilization and Association Process in enlargement countries. Other important topics discussed and shared were Peer reviews and monitoring, Commitments on Confidence, Sustainable Development Goals, The Code of Practice and Coordination of the National Statistical Systems, Developments in the ESS etc.
