Labor market statistics in Albania are based on two main sources, surveys and administrative data. The Labor Force Survey (LFS) is a continuous statistical survey that collects qualitative and quantitative information to assess key labor market indicators for all individuals aged 15 years and over in Albania. LFS enables not only the availability of estimations for a wide range of gender and education disaggregated indicators of job supply, but is also widely used to develop policies and employment strategies at national level and for specific population groups. In this publication, besides the data evaluated according to LFS, also data from administrative sources are used. Calculated indicators with administrative data are the average monthly gross wage disaggregated by gender, economic activities groups and occupations groups.
