The indicator is calculated as the ratio of the number of individuals, members of families with dependent children, living at risk of being poor to the total of individuals belonging to families with dependent children. According to the methodology for measuring poverty, the risk limit for being poor is calculated on the basis of the relative concept (poor in relation to others) and is determined at 60% of the median of available family income equivalent using the modified equivalent scale of the OECD. This is SDG indicator 1.2.1.
