The National Programme for Official Statistics 2022–2026 of Albania establishes under the domain of social and demographic statistics the requirement to report robust indicators on children (age 0–17 years), adolescents (10–19 years) and youth (age 15–29 years).

The dashboard is designed to provide to users real-time data on socio-demographic indicators, and serves as an inventory where data and information are stored. In addition, the dashboard facilitates data analysis, and enables the data to be shown as tables and graphs over the years.

The dashboard was designed in compliance with the obligation for institutional transparency, and promoting the use of data for monitoring the situation of children, adolescents and youths in Albania.

The setting up of the dashboard was made possible through the technical support of UNICEF Albania and the financial contribution of the government of the United Kingdom in the framework of the programme Transforming the National Response to Human Trafficking in and from Albania.
