INSTAT conducted the second test on Census of Population and Housing, the purpose of which was to test the questionnaire, data collection platform, monitoring the work from the controller.

According to the calendar planned within the activities of Cenus 2022, during the period 10-14 May, INSTAT conducted the training of field staff for the second test of Census 2022. During this training was transmitted knowledge about the terminology and methodology of Census, the use of tablets as well as completing the questionnaire electronically, working with maps, logistics and work organization during data collection, communication, ethics, statistical confidentiality and data protection.

During the period from 17 to 30 May 2021, the second test of Census 2022 was performed. This test consisted of collecting field data in 5 Census areas selected for test development. During this test, field controls were performed by foreign expertise, staff of methodology, IT, logistics and GIS for the progress of work, as well as control of collected data.

During this process, INSTAT has taken into account the opinions of the interviewers and the controller on the problems encountered in the field, as technical problems of the CAPI application or the specific content of the questionnaire.

The next test will be conducted in July.
