ANNOUNCEMENT OF WINNING LOGES OF THE POPULATION AND HOUSING CENSUS 2020

The Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) announces the winners of the competition for the new logo of the Census of Population and Housing 2020.

The winning logos of the first, second and third prize will be announced via email, within today (19.04.2019).

On May 3, 2019, the winning logos will be published, through an activity organized by INSTAT.

COMPETITION FOR SELECTING THE LOG OF THE POPULATION AND HOUSING CENSUS 2020

The Albanian Institute of Statistics (INSTAT) announces the opening of the competition for the new logo of the Census of Population and Housing 2020.

INSTAT plans to conduct the next Census of Population and Housing in 2020. The Census of Population and Housing, which is conducted once every 10 years, conducts the population and housing census, using new methods for data collection.

The Population and Housing Census 2020 will play a crucial role in updating the urgently needed statistical information at the local and regional level, and in understanding and presenting the changes that have taken place in Albania in terms of population and housing.

Censi 2020 is considered a national priority project by the Albanian government. It is essential for the development of evidence-based policies and the definition of socio-economic goals and plans for sustainable development at the national, regional and local levels, as well as for a stable and efficient statistical system, based on a combination of administrative data. and the survey (for more details, read here).

The competition will take place in two phases:

The first phase will take place from March 11 to April 15, where all applicants' proposals will be received.
The second phase will take place from April 16 to April 19 where the three winners of the first, second and third prize will be selected.

The winning logo will be owned by INSTAT.

All competitive proposals will be evaluated by a jury of professionals.

The announcement of the winners will be made on April 19, 2019 on the official website of INSTAT at www.instat.gov.al

The winner of the first prize will be evaluated with a Laptop.

The second and third prize winners will each be awarded a tablet.

Who can apply?

In the competition for the selection of the Census 2020 logo can participate:

All interested students of the Academy of Fine Arts
All interested students of Interior Architecture and Design at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning
Other students

Criteria and instructions required:

The logo should be unique and contemporary;
To convey the values, vision and mission of the Census of Population and Housing;
To convey a clear message;
Be distinctive and easy to remember;
The persons who will be declared the winner must sign a statement certifying that their logo does not infringe the rights of a third party and does not infringe the copyright of the other party.

Technical Specifications of the logo:

The logo should be in color;
Formats in which the logo must be submitted: Jpeg; Pdf; Png; Ai; Eps; Tiff

The logo must also be applicable to:

Business cards
Billboard and citylight
Poster
Notebook
Pen / Pencil
Forms / Letters
