Project objectives:    
•    The project aims to improve INSTAT’s overall capacity to fulfil is duties as described in the Law on Official Statistics and the Official Statistics Program, as well as the requirements of the EU acquis in the field of statistics (Chapter 18).
•    The project will enhance INSTAT’s ability to produce and disseminate quality statistics, and to fully take on the role as coordinator of the Albanian NSS. 
•    The overall outcome is the expected aggregated result from achieving the component specific outcomes.
Project results: The project will enhance INSTAT’s ability to produce and disseminate quality statistics, and to fully take on the role as coordinator of the Albanian NSS. The overall outcome is the expected aggregated result from achieving the component specific outcomes. Moreover, the project is expected to contribute significantly to Albania’s EU accession process as statistics is a crucial part of the EU acquis and chapter 18 is part of the Fundamentals cluster.
